Parent Presentation

February marks the start of a series of presentations guiding parents towards the transition to middle school. Santa Barbara locals are welcome to join me this coming Wednesday evening, February 20th from 7:00 - 8:00 PM at the Cathedral Oaks Athletic Club. Call the club at 805-964-7762 to reserve a seat.

If I miss you on the 20th, look for video clips and an audio podcast version of the presentation on this blog by the following Wednesday.

Theme for the evening presentation:  Thriving is easier than Surviving

Thriving in the year ahead means you understand and take action on three ideas:

  • Confidence
  • Connection
  • Challenge

During the evening presentation I will share practical strategies drawn from Saying Goodbye to Sundaes, that parents can use now. With middle school looming on the horizon it's the ideal time to think forward and begin taking action.
