Ideas to consider
As a catholic school survivor myself I can tell you the group of peers grows smaller and closer by the year. Junior high can be a great time to make the break from the small catholic school to a somewhat larger school setting where your daughter would have access to a larger peer group.
Have you visited any of the local public schools or private
schools in your area? Now, is a wonderful time to begin window shopping. Here's
a great article that talks about how parents begin looking for junior highs.

If you do decide to make the move, after shopping and having a heart to heart with you daughter about the move, consider working with a coach who can help ease your transition to junior high by providing you with some tools for succeeding in a larger school environment.
My best to you and your daughter in the coming months.
